Bar

Vegan drinks, friendly atmosphere, lots of events

We have Freedom Stout, Freedom Pilsner and Kaltenberg Hell lager on tap. On draught we pick from a range of 1648 ales. We also have boxes of Westons cider or perry.
In bottles we stock Erdinger wheat beer, Westons organic cider/perry and guest lagers.

When the bar is open (evenings Tuesday-Saturday from 7pm) then members and their guests of the 12 London Road Social Club are welcome..

It’s a private members club which uses the space in the evenings and is licensed to sell alcohol. It is co-operatively owned, controlled by its members and depends upon volunteers to keep it going. Only members and their guests may enter; to join costs just £1 and you can be proposed and seconded by existing members. There are currently over 4,000 members of the bar.

Entry to all events is free or by donation to raise funds for very causes. Do consider doing an event as a benefit for the club!

Volunteers to work at the bar are always welcome. Simply talk to someone behind the bar when we are open.

The bar collective is now meeting on the third Tuesday of every month, at 6pm before the bar night. Please come down if you want to get involved and/or have suggestions on how the bar can be run better!
