In the day, we are open to
the public, when the bar is open (evenings from 7pm) then members and
their guests of the 12 London Road Social Club are welcome. Unless
otherwise stated below, then evening events are bar events.

Regular opening times:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7pm - 11pm
- Friday and Saturday 8pm - 12am or 2am (depending on the event)
- Sunday
2pm - 10.30pm (only open on Sundays if there is an event on, usually
this is either a delicious Sunday Roast/BBQ fundraiser or a gig in the evening)
- Monday we are normally closed unless there is a special event on

- Mondays 10am - 3.30pm: Migrant English Project
Free English
lessons and drop-in conversation for asylum seekers and refugees.
Information, support and advice. Children welcome.
- Mondays 5pm - 6.15pm: Welfare Rights Advice
Free and
confidential advice on issues to do with claiming benefits, housing
and work issues.
- Every second Wednesday of the month, 4.30pm: Cafe volunteer meeting
- Wednesdays 4-6pm & Thursdays 7-9pm: Free Software Clinic (in the library)
Come
up to the library (upstairs in the back building) for help with Linux
and other free (open source) software. You can give your old machine a
new lease of life, and escape the clutches of Microsoft.
We can also help you stay secure and protect your privacy online.

When
the bar is open (evenings from 7pm) then members and their guests of
the 12 London Road Social Club are welcome. Unless otherwise stated
above, the evening events are bar events.The 12 London Road Social Club
(12LRSC) is a separate organisation from the Cowley Club.
It’s a private members club which uses the space in the evenings and is licensed
to sell alcohol. It is co-operatively owned, controlled by its members
and depends upon volunteers to keep it going. Only members and their
guests may enter; to join costs just £1 and you can be proposed and seconded by existing
members. There are currently over 4,000 members of the bar.
Entry to all events is free or by donation to raise funds for very causes. Do consider doing an event as a benefit for the club!
